Good item, horrible vendor. (2008-10-12)
The price was right, the item was exactly what it was supposed to be and works as expected. Now, here's the bad part. I ordered 3 of them. One showed up. We contacted Amazon who said it was a 3rd party vendor and they had nothing to do with it!! (Gee...except for having them available on your site!). We then contacted the vendor and explained the issue, they were far less than professional (seemed to run the business from their garage). They did say that they'd send out the two missing items. Within a couple of days we received another package from them. Was it the missing two headsets? Hardly. It held a single auto adapter and not one that would work with any of our phones. Once again, another call to the vendor. 3 days later...another package. THIS time the other two pieces actually made it here. They had asked that we return our unordered adapter on OUR dime! We refused. Oddly enough, we live about 1/2 block from a Sprint store and it would have been phenomenally quicker just to have walked down there and bought these for about $10 more each. I saved $30, but it was a pain in the butt. I would NOT recommend this vendor. And shame on Amazon for washing their hands of any responsibility.

mic hang on ears ok, i wish that by pushing the outside button enable you to answer incoming call without fliping the cell phone - no, you still have to flip the phone, close the phoce and begin talking.
i suggest that you shop for such a feature in the phone store, try it out before buying.

Works top notch (2007-11-16)
I've used Plantronics headsets for probably 50 years. Initially when flying oceanic runs for air to ground contact, and later with ham radio. I purchased the MX203-X! Mobile Headset to try it out and it worked so well that I purchased several more to give to my family to use. Recommend without reservations.

Hands Free Driving (2007-08-12)
I purchased this product so I could chat with my family while driving to and from work. It conveniently fits in one ear without the headset looking microphone so you don't feel like you are working at Old Navy or in a call center. You should be sure to plug it in before driving so there's no extra fiddling around, the only inconvenience associated with non-wireless capabilities. Quite often the person I am speaking with complains of not being able to hear me very well, but after a microphone adjustment it seems to be aleviated.

I have used this product several times now and it seems to do the job. Great price and very quick delivery time. Saved me a ton compared to buying it at the Sprint store. I'm able to use it for both my phone and my bluetooth. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it seems like it takes a very long time to charge my phone. I'm not certain if that is how long car chargers normally take. I haven't had any other problems with the product.

I was looking for something that would integrate with my car's sound system. I looked at the professionally installed Parrot products but because I have a built in navigation system that caused complications for the installers. My dealer recommended the Scosche Motormouth product but it had two problems: 1) it didn't automatically reconnect with my Blackberry even though I had set it up as a Trusted device in the Bluetooth setup and 2) in the first hour of using it the Scosche product cut off twice and was difficult to get back on. I found the Kingston LiquidAUX after some Googling and then found it here at Amazon. It was half the price of the Scosche, it automatically reconnects with my Blackberry when I enter the car, it hasn't cut out, and it integrates with my car's sound system. It's the perfect product for the price. Ideally I'd still like the Ford Mobile-Ease product, but until they make it for the 2008 Escape, the Kingston is the best solution around.

I have a Nokia e71, call quality and music quality with the phone is great and also great through my plantronics bluetooth headset. I used this kensington device in my 2008 Civic placed in the center console. The audio quality was very good for most things - there was a slight hiss / static noise that didn't bother me so much for music, but was distracting when listening to podcasts / audiobooks. Also, when making calls on the device my voice was hard to hear and sometimes inaudible even though I was speaking quite loudly (also was on a smooth road surface with no windows open). For the most part the controller worked great - it did seem to disconnect once for some reason. Build quality was great - and I really like Kensington as a company (their black fm transmitter for ipods sounds fantastic by the way). Perhaps in a car with a very very quiet cabin the phone quality would be better.

Am giving it 3 stars, I love the design - exactly the type of device I was looking for. The audio quality was very good (except for very minor hiss), but the call quality just didn't do it for me and I was really hoping to use it for calls also and not fumble with my bluetooth headset when a call comes through. Perhaps if they offered an optional plugin microphone that you could stick on your dash or something, then it might be a perfect little device.

I have been looking for an inexpensive device to connect to via Bluetooth for wireless streaming music for a while now. I saw this on an Amazon "Lightning Deal" and bought it with much hesitation since I couldn't find any reviews on it. I am glad I did. I pair it with a Nokia N95. My car is quite old. It is equipped with a factory radio but I previously installed an AUX adapter that plugs directly into the CD changer harness. The LiquidAUX, in turn, plugs into the adapter. Obviously, newer factory or aftermarket stereos with a 1/8" jack are ideal but regardless an analog input of some sort is a requirement for this product. Hence, it won't work with every car stereo out there. Installation is simple. You just need access to a cigarette lighter or power port. Aside from the already mentioned audio input, you are already done. Once you get it set up and paired though, it works as advertised. Initial pairing works by holding down the Bluetooth symbol key. The passcode is the usual "0000" and there is no option to change it. The unit also has a power button. It must be held for a couple of seconds to get it disconnect from the phone. If I hold it too long, it will disconnect and then reconnect to the phone. Annoying. Out of the box, the unit may also need to be paired with the remote. Same process as with phone, but you hold the "middle" button on the remote to allow it be discovered. I initially thought something was wrong with my remote. Don't make the same mistake I did (reinserting battery several times) and read the instructions.

The output through my system is a little soft, so I have to turn up the volume at higher level than normal (versus listening to the radio or a CD). This may be due to the phone or the input adapter on the car stereo. It is still quite acceptable. The remote attaches to the steering wheel via a Velcro strap. The remote doesn't appear particularly durable, but once attached it really does stay in place solidly (in my case anyways). I like the fact you can transport everything to another vehicle in just seconds, nothing is permanent. The remote controls play/pause, forward, backward, and answer/dial. As for the hands free portion of the device, this was not a priority for me. I have used it a few times and it works well enough. No problems with echo, but at least one person said I sounded audible but a little muffled. I think the location has a lot to with that. In my case, I have the LiquidAUX located in the center console. Better put, it is well below the driver and off to the side. I have nowhere else to plug it in. I am sure somewhere on the dash in front of the driver would allow the microphone to pick up the speech more clearly. It would also make it easier for me to attempt voice dialing someone off my contact list. I have to speak more loudly and clearly than I would if I were using the phone's microphone to make it work. Like stated above, I bought this mainly for the streaming of high quality music. I don't notice any loss of audio quality nor have I experienced problems with drop outs.

If you have a particular use for this type of device, it works as advertised. I have bought lots of devices that have lots of promise but fail miserably in usage. I am happy to say this simple device does everything it should.

Outstanding (2008-09-04)
I have been very frustrated trying to find a charger & AUX adapter for my iPhone 3G. I tried several other similar devices from Griffen & Belkin. No other product worked correctly. They all caused compatibility error messages on the phone or failed to charge the phone.

This Kensington LiquidAUX works perfectly with the iPhone 3G. The sound is clean. The build quality is above average. The wireless remote is especially handy.

Kensington got this product right. I love it!

Home Charger (2008-12-07)
This phone charger does the job as well as the original. I originally went to Radio Shack for a universal charger but didn't want to spend $30. This cost about $10 shipped for a considerable savings. The charger doesn't slide into the phone as well as the original but that really is not an inconvenience. After using it I can say I'd buy it again.

Not worth it (2008-07-14)
I got these earbuds for Moto Q. The fit is poor unless you have huge ear canal. They are big and hard. So trying to get them to stay in your ear is difficult. If you can get them to stay the output level is weak. I tried to use these on a flight and I could barely hear anything. A better solution is to get an adapter and use your favorite earbuds.

Great Item! (2008-05-07)
I bought this product as a replacement for the identical one that I broke after over three years of use and abuse. I have the Motorola ROKR E1 phone and I love the sound quality from this headset! It offers easy transitioning from music to phone calls and the microphone for hands free talking picks up my voice very clearly. I was also impressed that the headset came with extra padding adapters for the earpieces that I did not have with my original headset that came with my phone. I would recommend this product to anyone with a a compatible phone for it!

The price was great (extreme bargain!!!) and the seller shipped this item very promptly! It arrived in perfect condition and I am entirely pleased with the purchase!

...but crappy design. I equate it to Ford where quality is job 1. Unfortunately design is job 233 and far more important because no amount of quality can make up for crappy design.

The quality of sound from these headphones is great. I like the sound a lot. They sound very good, honestly. But the design is very unforgiving like many motorola products. The headphones hurt my ears after only a short while listening. There is no cushioning to the edges of the ear piece, unless you count the very thin hard rubber edge. I do mean hard.

The mike is nice being where it's loctated, but it's completely retarded that one headphone is 12 inches longer than the other from the center point. It's just so awkward to use this way. The jack not being a standard size or style makes it impossible to change to another set so you're stuck with headphones made for the phone but if there were something else available I would gladly switch. The mike also induces a lot of noise and has poor pickup. People on the other end often keep asking you to repeat yourself unless you're located in a very quiet location.

5 stars for the sound but I'm afraid it's 1 overall.

The arm band works very well, but it only last a few months if it's use often. And I use it 2 to 3 times a week. It starts to come apart after about three months. It does not cost very much. I guess that's why it does not last long.

Works well - watch out for the gooey glue! (2008-09-10)
The good: This arm band works well, and stays on my arm with me cellphone while running.

The bad: There is no hole other than the top slot where the cord can pass through... this could be an issue for some cell phones, but it was fine with mine.

The ugly: The clear cover is sewn on AND attached with some sort of sealing glue. The glue softens and starts to cover your cell phone in slime.

Overall, I'd buy it again... the slime comes off relatively easily, and it works for what I need.

armband for MP3 player (2008-07-15)
Slides down a lot after running/biking for excess of 20 minutes.
Also the inside of it had glue/goop that attached itself to the entire MP3 player. Trying to get it off has been a hassle. Try to use rubbing alcohol to get it off, got most off with that. Still a little left. Tried to clean the inside of armband off with same stuff. I don't want to use it again, afraid the glue will get all over my MP3 player again.
If it weren't for the glue, I would rate it at 3 to 4 stars out of 5.

Eargel pieces are VERY tight fitting in the ear. I do have smaller ears so those with smaller ears should be weary. I tried all the gels and none of them don't make my ear hurt after prolonged use. Initially it feels fine when I stuffed it in my ear, but after like 20-30mins of talking, my ear starts to hurt. Another gripe is that my callers complain that I sound distant and they have a hard time hearing what I say. I have to talk pretty loud (no inside voices) which would work fine on the road, but I also try to use it at home with my roommate sleeping so inside voices just don't cut it. Boom is flimsy and overall I regret purchasing this.
