Compact and Convenient (2009-01-06)
This small bag is just the right size for carrying my DCR-SR220 camcorder, car charger, wall charger, an extra battery and lens filters. And there is room for a little more. This is the second one I purchased. The first was lifted by thieves that came into our home and decided that they needed it worse than I did. I liked the compact size so well that I wanted to replace it with the same one. It is light weight and the perfect size to take to swim meets, because I usually have a lot of other items to carry also.

Large Carrying Case (2008-12-27)
This case is larger than expected (double the size of one at Walmart that looks just like it), but probably true to specifications (which I obviously didn't think through).

More space, however, allows me to carry more...such as my regular digital cameras, small tripod, batteries, and chargers, so it will make a good storage case or case for trips requiring all of the above.

Good quality. Made nicely. Seems sturdy. Would recommend as long as one wants a larger case for their small handycam. (I have the DCR-SR45.)

I'm really happy to receieve the Sony LCS-X20, so it is perfect to keep clean and safety our new DCR-SR45 Camcorder. The cost and shipment it's really cheap ! Great finish and fix perfect !

Adequate size for camcorders. Nice front zip pocket and velcro divider of main area. But overall quality is a little thin... may not last as long as I would like.

not real happy (2009-01-06)
I wanted a new headset that I can use while riding my bike to work. figured since I have a sony phone I should get a sony headset. the main function I use on the bike is the voice commands. that is the only function I can not get to work with my phone. my cheap Scala works great with voice but I cant wear with the helmet. The stereo sony headset sounds great with the MP3 player my phone has however.

Works, mostly (2008-05-29)
It tends to skip when you use it for the first few minutes (at least mine does). I mainly use it to play music, and I notice that when I turn off one of either phone or headset, and I turn it back on it probably will skip. To resolve this I turn both of them off, or at least first turn of both BTs then back up again. I haven't used the A2DP yet with my laptop. Probably because I need to change drivers, or maybe because of an incompatibility issue with my laptop BT. I haven't really tried, but it does not work yet with my HP TX2000 vista machine. Early research mentioned that BT devices must be compatible with the BT software.

Not compatible with BlackJack II and MS Voice Command (2008-05-28)
This device has good sound and great reception, but it did not work with my set up. I have a BlackJack II running Microsoft Voice Command, and the DS220 would drop the Bluetooth connection whenever Voice Command notified me of an event. Starting a Voice Command session from the DS220 would also cause the unit to disconnect after the command finished. The incompatiblity may be due to both the software running on the BlackJack II and the unit itself.

If I am not using MS Voice Command then the DS220 would work as expected on my BlackJack II. It functions great as a stereo headset when it comes to sound and reception, but the volume control is hard to use and the tiny display is basically useless. Im my opinion, it needs a dedicated volume control, the ability to play/pause, and previous/next track controls in order for it to be competative with other offerings.

I returned the DS220 and purchased a Sonorix C3 instead. The Sonorix C3 worked splendidly with my BlackJack II and MS Voice Command, and has all the features to make it a much more capable device.

Good but only with Sony Ericsson (2008-05-23)
Yes, It looks good! Sound quality is great! You can use it with any 3.5mm jack headset! However, buy it only if you intend to use it with a Sony Ericsson product. When paired with N95, HTC Tytn I or II, the sound cuts off for a split second every 80sec or so when listening to music. This imperfection, for me, is an absolute no no; ruins the music experience. Five of my colleagues have the same headset and they experienced the same shortcomings with all five. Hence, I threw mine in the bin and bought my self the HTC BH S100; works like a dream with my HTC device.

Poor battery life--4 hours (2008-05-10)
Battery life is only 4 hours, in a day when Sony's mp3 players get 33 hours and an ipod can play for almost as long. If you do buy this product, you can double the headphone output if you use skull candy's ear buds. The operability/human factors of the control unit leave a little to be desired--pressing two buttons to get the unit to pair/synch with a bluetooth transmitter. Why not just one 'pairing' button instead of pressing a small button at the same time pressing the >/Stop button. Battery life is the deal breaker. I bought this as a first try in the bluetooth world along with the Sony Bluetooth transmitter---lessons learned.

Works great!! (2008-12-25)
I've been using this for a few weeks now, and it works great! It gets wet all of the time, and the radio continues to work perfectly. Also, the reception is much better than prior shower radios that I have used. I don't get anything from the weather or TV stations, but I didn't buy it for that as I just wanted the radio.

Great product...Just don't let it fall too many times! (2008-12-21)
Bought this for my husband so he could listen to the radio in the morning. I think it fell off the little shelf in the shower a few too many times (~4 ft). It worked great, and still "technically" works (it does play with batteries installed). The buttons (any of them) won't respond anymore though (since the last fall) and the volume just stays up high now and won't go down. We also have to take the batteries out to get it to turn off. I realize this is probably all our fault for letting it fall several times (~10?). I plan on either getting this fixed or buying a new one since we really did like it.

Shower radio is multi-purpose (2008-12-06)
I chose this product because it was top rated for reception, which I wanted because I live in a romote area. It is water proof so I can take it with me outside when I am gardening.

Look nowhere else this one's it (2008-12-02)
I've had this radio for a year now and it works perfectly. I've used it almost everyday and have only replaced the batteries once. The sound quality is superb with very little distortion if you crank up the volume. It's surprising just how loud this radio gets. Splurge a little and get a quality product. Don't waste your money on the cheap ones.

Good but faulty (2008-11-24)
We have four of these little gadgets and all of them still work. However, the plastic flex panel buttons only last about one year. You can still use the buttons but it's hard on the fingers. ALSO starting Jan2009 the TV stations on this unit will cease to function.

Like many tech fanatics, I eagerly looked forward to the release of this phone over a year ago when it was first announced. But after all that wait, I must say that I am a little disappointed with the final product. Sony definitely delivered a great looking and solidly built cellphone. However, the choice of using Windows Mobile on the Xperia X1 is the real failure of this phone.

If you have used the iPhone (OS X) or the HTC G1 (Android) and then you used a Windows Mobile phone such as the Xperia X1, you will be blown away by how poor an operating system Windows Mobile is. It is slow, buggy (even after its been out for ages), prone to crashes and restarts and not designed for finger touch.

The panel interface does little to mask the ugliness and user unfriendliness of Windows Mobile. With the exception of the sbp panel and the Sony designed media player panel, most of the other panels that are available at this writing are nothing to write home about. At the end of the day, the panels are just eye candy and are not enough to improve the user experience significantly.

That said, the phone is well appointed with GPS, a beautiful screen (800x480) resolution, nice keyboard, FM radio and a very handsome design. The screen clarity will impress you. I was able to watch a Divx encoded movie on the Xperia X1 and I was thoroughly impress with its clarity.

In my opinion, this phone would be better served if it ran Android (Google OS) instead of the crappy windows mobile operating system.

Pros:
1. Great design.
2. Very stylish and will grab positive attention.
3. Excellent screen. High resolution (800x480) Crystal clear, excellent for movies.
4. GPS, WIFI (802.11b/g), bluetooth.
5. Very good battery life.

Cons: (all the negatives are due to windows mobile)
1. Sometimes slow and buggy.
2. Archaic user interface.
3. Poor finger touch implementation (forces you to use stylus).

pretty good after all (2008-12-08)
i am writing this review from the xperia: that's how much i've been using it lately, and that's how easy it is to use for typing, browsing, editing and reviewing important documents. the touch screen is great and the phone has a sturdy, heavy metalic feel that i personally love. but there ARE some shortcomings. You need to fiddle around with it BIGtime before you get its battery to perform decently. And the camera could be better (my old nokia n82 took far superior photos and even more so for video).

Overall a very impressive mini laptop disguised as a phone, a trend in design many others are already following, such as the n97. Running on WM 6.1 pro opens up the door for so many great programs, ive had it 5 days and ive downloaded 11 apps: audio recording, tweaking, barcode reading, chat, skype, facebook, media players, maps, gps, security, etc.

Disappointed (2009-01-04)
So I took out the product and it was in like a pamphlet thing that had Chinese instructions so no help there.Then it came with a sticker about 3/4 an inch long to supposedly to help you peel off the protector, that helped until i wanted to take off the sticker when i did it left a horrible residue that was impossible to take off so it was like a blot in the screen that will never go away so then with that aside i tried putting it on my psp but from the time i took it out of the package to put it on my psp there was already a lot of dust on it which made a whole bunch of tiny bubbles.

i keep my psp in my pocket at skool and a lot of times it bangs against a desk or a wall or whatever but im not scared anymore bcuz i no my screen is okay... i didnt even notice it until i logged on and decided to make some of these reviews and i was like i bought that... OOO YA. if u spend a good 2-3 minutes ull get like 1-2 bubbles which u honestly never even see wen the screen is actually on.... BUY IT NOW...

Almost worked (2008-10-03)
I was very excited when I got the screen protector and even when I started to put it on. The problem came when I tried to remove the sticker tab that is there for you to hold onto when applying. It's an actual sticker so that when you remove it it leaves sticker residue. Trying to get the sticker off and subsequently the residue off left me with air bubbles in the corner of the protector, although I still have a protected screen.

Screen protector works great, but it's the application that needs refining.

No-hassle Installation Tip (2008-07-16)
The foolproof way to install ANY of these protectors is to first coat the GPS screen with a film of ph balanced soap solution (very diluted no-more-tears baby shampoo works fine). The pros do this when installing window film on houses and cars. The soap allows you to center the protector and to squeeze bubbles out easily because it can't stick until the soap dries (it takes overnight to do). Use a clean napkin to collect the excess soap that comes out as you squeeze the bubbles. With this trick, I got mine on the first time without ANY bubbles! Cheers.

The screen protector isnt that bad as what other reviewers said. For any screen protector, you need to be patient and follow the instructions. Start from the corner and slowly attach to the screen, remove those air bubbles with the help of squeegee card and cloth. Fast shipment, I am happy with that.
